Middle school aged girls, come out and join us on our inaugural launch of Triangle Techgirlz. Bandwidth will be sponsoring a panel of speakers, in different roles, and at various stages in their careers. The panelists will speak to you about how they started out, what they like best about what they do, and how darn cool and exciting careers in technology can be. Follow the #tritechgirlz hashtag on Twitter.
The event is free!

Lufkin's Parent Volunteers must reactivate at the school to be a volunteer. Through the end of October the volunteer portal is open Monday - Friday until 2:30 p.m. After October 31, the volunteer portal will be open each Monday at all WCPSS locations through the end of May. Volunteers already approved in 2013-14 and planning to continue for the 2014-15 school year must reactivate his/her status.
Renewal takes about 2-5 minutes, and the application takes about 10 minutes. When you come in to register it is helpful to come prepared with your Social Security number, driver’s license number and, if you have lived anywhere besides NC in the past 10 years, you will need those addresses.
There are multiple computers set up in the Media Center for volunteer registration. Thank you so much for your support!
